Halloween 2010

Halloween has always been one of my very favorite holidays. This year was especially fun because of the boys. Holidays are so much better when you have kids. It felt like it was Halloween for about a week and a half :) and that was fine with me.. Our first Halloween Party was at our old neighbors house ( pictures from that fun day are in my last post.) The week before Halloween my sister hosted a Halloween party for all of the kids. She had neighbors, family, and friends. We decorated pumpkins and the kids got to listen to spooky stories and eat treats in their costumes. On the 30th we went to a ward party with my Mother-in-law, DeeAnn. Titan and Linkin had a blast eating candy, seeing all of the costumes, playing games, and Linkin even did the cake walk! When the music came on he would dance and laugh. He loved the Halloween music they had on. After the ward party, DeeAnn had all of the grand kids over for chili and trick-or-treating. Titan was the perfect age for trick-or-treating this year!! He ran as fast as he could house to house. He was so cute to watch this year! After about 3 houses Titan was really excited and realized that EVERY house he went up to would give him candy.. he ran down the drive way and said "This is AMAZING!!!" and lifted his candy bag up in the air. That sweet image of him will always stay in my special memories! I love watching the boys have fun!
The next night we went to my sister's house and carved pumpkins for Halloween night!!

Fall is here =)

I love this time of year!!! The smell in the air, the colors, pumpkin bread, hot soup... I could go on and on.. We brought the boys up the canyon to look at the Fall leaves today. The canyon is so beautiful this time of year.. ( it always is up there.. but right now especially!!) . Also, we went to a Fall/Halloween party at our friends house yesterday! The kids painted pumpkins, we ate delicious pumpkin bread, and cute little pumpkin shaped sandwhiches. Titan and Linkin had so much fun, and so did I!! Thanks Rachel!!! Update..

So.. A few changes have happened since my last post..
We have recently moved to Orem. I miss our sweet neighbors/friends in Lehi but we have some really great neighbors at our new place too! We are finally all unpacked and the place we are at now already feels like home. We adjust quickly. :)
... And, you know you are having a good time when you forget to take pictures.. but a few weeks ago we went to Park City for the weekend. It was so much fun! My in-laws had a timeshare at the East Canyon resort. We stayed for 2 nights. We took the boys on a lift ride with DeeAnn and Jamie, we went out for a delicious dinner, went shopping, went swimming, and had a great time!! It was a wonderful little weekend get away!!
So, life is good. :)

Wish You Were Here...

My sister Wendi and her 2 adorable kids- Teague (4) and Sunni (1) came to visit from Georgia. We usually only see them once ..maybe twice a year. So it is a treat to get to spend time with them!! This time was especially great because while they were here we celebrated Sunni's 1st BIRTHDAY!!! I wish the weekend would of lasted longer! The kids all had a blast playing in the yard with water guns and splashing around in the kiddie pools at my parents house. We also had a fun BBQ and fireworks on the 24th. I miss you guys already!! Love You Wendi, Teugue, and Sunni Bunny!

I thought this was so cute!- I looked over the couch to check on the boys and Linkin was laying on Titan. Sweet sweet boys!!! ( notice Titan's gloves?.. They are his 'cool guy super gloves' he says, and for the last few days he has had them on.. haha )

Titan and Linkin both love these protien shakes from the gym. The little munchkins ask for a 'sip' and the next thing you know it's gone!! :)

Fun things happening!! This has been such a fun summer so far and it's just the begining!! The strawberry days events and Father's Day were so much fun. Linkin and I have been taking walks out in the sunshine everyday and I am loving getting a tan and exercise at the same time. :)
I got to go to the ECLIPSE PreScreen!! A family in my in-laws ward reserved a Theater and I got to go with my mother in law, sister in laws, and a bunch of other Twilight Fans :) !! It was soo much fun. ECLIPSE is my favorite of the movies so far. I am going to buy the book Breaking Dawn today :)
It was so nice to get out with the girls. My younger sister Brittani watched Linkin for me. Thanks Britt!! After the movie DeeAnn did a BBQ at thier house for the Eclipse Party. Brittani, Nick and the boys came to that too. It was such a great day!!
I am also excited for this weekend! Happy 4TH OF JULY WEEKEND everyone!! :) :)

Father's Day Weekend

Friday night- Sunday the kids were having nonstop fun :)
Friday night we went to the Strawberry Days Rodeo. My younger sister Brittani came with us. Linkin got his first bloody nose. :( He was running and fell right on his little nose, but he cheered up quick. Titan wore a cowboy costume to the Rodeo so he could look like the real cowboys. After the rodeo we went to the carnival. Linkin loved all the lights and action! Titan went on a few rides. He loved this huge slide they had. I took him down the slide once and I was seriously nervous when we were climbing up the stairs to get to the top of this huge slide. I was thinking 'Im not too sure if I want little Titan to go down this big thing.' Sure enough when we got to the top he was not scared at all. He actually ended up spending all of the rest of our tickets to go down the slide over and over. Nick took him down all the other times after that. Once going down it was enough for me. :) I took Linkin on the merry go round. He liked being on it but he didn't want to stay on his horse. So I just held him on the merry go round and he was laughing so hard. Having kids at carnivals makes you feel like a little kid again. Seeing how excited they get and how much fun they are having is such a great feeling. I am so thankful to be a mommy and be able to take the boys to do fun things.
On Saturday morning we went to the Parade with my mother-in-law, Brittani, and my Sister-in-law Emily and her 3 kids. Emily went early and got prime spots for the parade. :) The kids were right up at the road and could see everything and catch candy that people threw off of the parade floats. :) Titan was talking about how he saw Cosmo the Cougar for the rest of the day after we got home. Linkin really liked the marching bands in the Parade. I had to hold Linkin close to me because he wanted to run off in the parade and be in it! :) He is such a little busy body lately, and I love it! I never ever get bored, that's for sure!!
After the parade we went over to my mom's house and the kids played in her yard and ate way too many Popsicles. After my mom's we went home and while we waited for Daddy to get home the kids played in the little pool outside. That night when Nick got home we went over to his friends house for a BBQ. The family has a little boy just a little older than Titan so the 2 boys played the entire time and had alot of fun. Titan did not want to leave their house and the next morning he asked when we were going back over there. They also had a sandbox so of course Linkin was in that the entire time. When we got home I scrubbed sand out of his hair in the tub. :) The boys slept very well that night!! :) (they fell asleep right when we put them to bed and slept til after 10am the next morning - it was great!!!) Then Sunday(FATHERS DAY!!!) :) :) :) We let Daddy sleep in, had breakfast, Titan and I went to Starbucks and got a treat for Daddy, then we went to my in-laws for a delicious dinner. I ate way too much but it was worth it. Linkin LOVES strawberries:)! He was covered in strawberry by the time we left. The boys got to play with their cousins over there too. It was a great weekend!! I hope all of you Dad's had a great day. Thank you to: Nick!! You are such a wonderful Father and Husband, I am blessed to have you!! I LOVE YOU!!! and a special HAPPY FATHERS DAY to my Dad who is always there for me. I love you so much Pops!!!
